CISO Summit - Jun 7 - Jun 8, 2012 Montelucia Resort

The CISO Summit would like to invite CISOs and C-level information security executives to share their expertise and participate in the technology event as speakers or panelists.

This year's strategic agenda includes a variety of interactive panel discussions, think tanks, and networking sessions. Get involved by speaking on the discussion topics below:

Topics of Discussion are Set to Include:

  • Securing the Enterprise - How can we let technology run rampant through our organizations - technology that is fundamentally improving business outcomes - while still maintaining a coherent IT security strategy?
  • Data Security & Integrity - Gaining Control & Protecting Your Information - Enterprise data security has become a critical issue for business decision-makers when the control over the information is at stake. What can organizations do to secure enterprise data and applications? What strategies and methods can they use to maintain control over who has access to what?
  • Myths and Reality of Affordable Storage and Secure Accessibility - Discuss accelerating enterprise data growth trends and key reasons why many industry leaders are evaluating cost-effective and secure archiving and sharing alternatives.
  • Structuring Your Organizations IT Workforce - It falls upon the CISO and the Office of the CISO to solve a wide range or problems - from a slow decision making process, low quality decisions and lack of responsiveness to change, to friction between areas and resource inefficiency.
  • A Matter of Security - Companies are facing a daily barrage of attacks and threats against their data - and the risk is immense. A successful security breach can lead to an irreversible loss of business, trust and reputation. Architectural and strategic planning considerations for the deployment of security-enabled technologies, as well as understanding trends in emerging technologies will be a priority for the IT executives in the coming years.
